Make-Up splurge....

This weekend i have been to London with  my family and while i was there i did some retail therapy (would have been rude not too..ha) While i was there i got some great new items of clothing as well as some new pieces of make-up...
The best place to try on and look at all the different make-up brands is Selfridges Oxford street, its my favourite place to browse. The cosmetics hall is huge with every brand you could ever think of...

I looked around a lot of my usual make up brands that i use..Ysl, Dior, Bobbie brown Mac etc but i really wanted to try a new brand, Nars has always interested me and i have read some great stuff about this brand.
I headed over to the counter to be greeted by a really nice italian man to help me look and try!
I picked a few products that i really liked!
I was very pleased with them and here is a few items that i purchased!!!

Also on my make up splurge i purchased this great eyeshadow set from urban decay called naked 2. I have has my eye on this for a while it cost £36 which i think is a reasonable price considering you get 12 different shades and a eyeshadow brush too! I really really liked the colours in the set, some nice pale and nude colours for everyday use.

I decided to try Nars lip loss, eyeshadow set, and there pro primer  which is a smudge proof eye shadow base!!

These are the eyeshadow i brought, on the left the set of two is called 'all about me' and cost £24 and the single eyeshadow is called 'cyprus' and cost £17

The lipgloss is a great nude colour its the colour Kim kardashian is a lover of, its called 'gold digger' and cost £19

I have been very happy with all my new items of make up and will defiantly be purchasing from Nars again!!!

DIY Studded shorts!!!

This is a step to step guide on how to customise some Levi 501 shorts...
Firstly all you need is your studs (which i brought off ebay, they have many different varieties) and either a pair of scissors or a blunt knife....

Then you need to decide where you want to put your studs... I put mine either side of the shorts but you can do the pockets or wherever you like really...next you need to push the stud through the denim, this can be tricky cause it thick material....

Then the hard part... using either your scissors or knife you need to bend the two prongs flat, be very careful cause they are hard to bend so don't slip and cut yourself thats why it has to be a blunt knife..

make sure all the prongs are as flat as possible else when you wear them they will dig into your skin...

once all the studs are put on,  the inside of the shorts should look like this....

The finished look.... its very very easy to do yourself you just need time because they can take a while to position where you want the studs and the bending them can take time too!!

Im really happy with how mine turned out i can't wait to do some more!!! I have ordered some different style and colour studs to customise some more of my clothes....will post link below

My studded combo...

Ok so wanted to share with you my new studded clutch bag I purchased this weekend from London, I have been in search for one for a long time ever since I brought my studded lady peep Christian Louboutin shoes! so when i walked into Zara and saw this wink and me i had to buy it....

This bag couldn't be any more perfect for my shoes, i love it so much!! This shoes and handbag combo with will great with just a little black dress or skinny jeans and loose t-shirt , nothing to much as they talk for them self and really stand out in a crowd...very rock chick!!!

Its from the new spring/summer 2012 collection which has some other amazing pieces, i was very impressed with the standard this year, stunning fabrics and lush colours!!

The bag cost £59.99 its real leather and very heavy, I'm was really pleased with the price cause the real bag to match my shoes would have set me back at least £450!!!!!!!!!!

Arm Candy....

I'm totally in love with all these amazing bracelets , the more on your arm the better it looks!! You have to be very careful though, because it can look tacky if you pick the wrong items to wear!
The picture above is of my own bracelets, I got these from a shop in Westfields shopping centre! The brand is called butterfly they do some mega pieces.

The cuffs can spice most outfits up and are sold at reasonable prices, £50 each is the going-rate.

There are many different styles you can chose from, rock chic with the studs and spikes, glam girl with the bling and gold diamonds or casual ones which are great for turning a work outfit into an after work drink outfit.

denim shorts.....

Ok peeps sooooo, I'm actually loving all these shorts at the minute!! I just wish the summer would hurry up so i can wear them!!
The looks above are some of my favourite's that i found, I'm loving all the studs, layered jewellery and loose t-shirts it looks very cool!!
I have just purchased some gold and sliver studs from ebay to try and customise some of my own denim shorts,  I have watched a few videos on You Tube on how to customise yourself, it looks very easy so will keep you updated on how it goes!!

Some of my fav new products

These are some of my new products I have purchased recently, want to share them with you and give you my opinion on them.....
Tom Ford Brushes: I have been looking for a new luxury brush set and Tom Ford is perfect, I have only got 3 brushes at the moment but plan on getting the whole set over time. They range from £25 per brush and go right up to £80 so can be a little pricy!!!
I would definitely recommend them, they feel super soft and will last a life time. I have numbers 12, 2 and 5 so far.

Tom Ford Foundation Stick: I'm not usually a foundation kinda girl but this has won me over!
It is light on your skin and gives a great coverage that lasts! I have it in number 07 Tawny and it's a definite try girls....

Mac Paint Pot: This is great for smokey eyes on a saturday night. I really like this product because its long-lasting and has a slight shimmer to it as well, adding a luxurious effect!

Mac Cream Eyeshadows: These are the new metal-x eyeshadows and I love them, they are great on there own during the day, or by adding a bit of sparkle you can glam it up for the evening! Cyber and Fusion gold are the colours above.

YSL Mascara: The Yves Saint Laurent "Shocking" mascara is to die for! It is the ultimate must-have in your make up bag. I start by applying the Topshop mascara (pictured above) in colour Raven, then overcoat my lashes with the YSL mascara in jet black, the for false lash effect. At just £21 how can you say no?

My New Prada Purse

So, finding the perfect purse has been a real chore for me, it probably doesn't help that I am very fussy! A purse is something you use every single day, so you have gotta get it just right!
I had been on the hunt for a few weeks, looked high and low, and been into all the designer shops!

I narrowed it down to just two, this Prada gold one and a black quilted Chanel with the logo - both classics.

I am a BIG fan of Chanel and have the black quilted bag, so thought it was perfect for me. But to be honest, price was the deciding factor for me on this one, with the Chanel classic coming in at £600. That's an awful lot of money for a purse that didn't really stand out.

My gold Prada one was £295 - a much more reasonable price!

Any one who knows me, know I adore anything gold - so I guess this purse is perfect for me.

I love the structured bow on the front and think its a very unsual look that I haven't seen before. It stands out, and in comparison to the Chanel price - it was a complete bargain!

I <3 My New Prada Purse!!

The Essentials.....

These are some of the ultimate essentials that no girl should be without.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

If you want that extra 10 minutes in bed after a late night partying, this is the official life saver!
Batiste dry shampoo banishes oily roots, giving dull, lifeless hair the makeover it needs without water. A quick burst revitalises hair, adds body, texture and volume and leaves it feeling clean and fresh too.

They have loads of different types, some for blonde hair, some for dark hair - but my favourites are 'Wild' and the 'XXL Volume' ones which are exclusive to Boots. They smell delish! To check out the whole range then just visit the website.

St Tropez

Out of all the tans on the shelfs at the moment, this is the ultimate. It gives you a nice bronze glow, opposed to a tacky orange tan which is every girls worst nightmare - I've had a few in my time.

Out of the mousse, spray and lotion I prefer the lotion myself - but everyone is different. It's easy to rub in, doesn't go streaky and most importantly it doesn't leave that lingering 'fake tan' smell after washing.

The Self Tan Bronze Lotion is £20.43 for 120ml or for 240ml its £30.64 - bargain considering they last for ages! Visit http://www.st-tropez.com

St Tropez Tan Remover

And to top it off, St Tropez have even created a solution to those orange hands too! After applying your lotion, be sure to grab yourself a squirt of this tan remover. It can remove tan off the palms of your hands, or in those sticky places for up to 4 hours after applying...ideal!

You can also buy this from the website above, for just £12.26!

Moroccan Oil

I love love love this Moroccan hair oil which revives hair, reduces drying time and leaves your hair feeling soft, silky and smooth.

They do a whole range of items, from hair oils to luminous hair spray - definitely worth a try ladies.

You can find this either on the website, or by popping into your local beauty hair salon.

My favourite Dresses

Celeb Boutique dresses are my absolute favourite! I have several different styles myself, they fit amazing on the body as most of them are bandage dresses. They suck you in and show of your figure in all the right places!
I thought I would share this website with you because at the moment there are so many mega Christmas party dresses. The first of the three nude coloured dresses above is one of my favourite purchases from the site. I'm planning on wearing it to my Christmas party this month, and for £109 its quite a steal!

They range from about £80-£200 on average but are so worth it! Keep a look out in the magazines and online, Kim Kardashian, The Saturdays and the Essex crew are regulars to the website.

Also check out the accessories...the shoes, handbags and jewllerry sparkle just as much as the dresses. The whole site is so glam!

Another great thing about the website is the delivery, order before wednesday and your guaranteed to have the stuff by the weekend - perfect for that last minute night out.

A the icing on the cake is that the shipping is free, and they even deliver to the US!

CHECK IT OUT

Hair Envy!!!

These are some pictures of amazing hair that I totally envy! They are my inspiration to keep growing my hair
I have been growing it for what seems like 10years, its just past shoulder length at the moment but would love it to be as long as the girls in the picture above!!
I always think about having extensions and have found some really good places to get them done, just wish my own hair would grow so i don't have to spend loads of money on them!!!
I dream of big thick bouncy long locks like all the victoria secrets models have....I'm well gel, oh well i will just have to wait......

Fun and true quotes I live by.......

Nails!

I'm totally obsessed with nail varnish and nail designs, I'm always looking out for new styles and colours I can try, here are a few of my favourites.......

NUDE, METALLIC AND BLING!!!!

FUN PATTERNS AND DESIGNS!!!!!

Winter looks I love!!!

With the cold front fast approaching, I have been excited to start thinking about my winter fashion!!
I love to play with layers, big cozy scarfs and hunting for the perfect winter coat and boots....

I have put together some looks that I'm loving this season, think for them winter nights outs its good to layer then chuck a warm blazer over the top, this way you don't end up going out looking like a snow man with a massive coat, gloves and scarf and covering your whole outfit up!

Think this bright orange blazer is mega it brightens up any winter wardrobe, looks great paired with leopard shoes and bag, leopard is a timeless print that never goes out of fashion. I would say be carefully how much of this print you wear cause it can become tacky and cheap looking if its over done!

Fur Coats are so chic, I always look forward to wearing mine in the winter months. The star jumper is super cute, I'm a fan of over sized cozy jumpers like the one above!

You cant go wrong with black every now and again as long as its done right and looks sophisticated. I love the leggings in the picture above, the black panel down the leg gives the illusion of longer thinner legs, which is always a good thing : )

Metallic's are bang on trend this winter, these silver jeans and amazing! My friend recently brought a pair from H & M and they look so good on I need some in my life! I have also found some gold ones from river island that look mega too.
These jeans talk for them self so I would suggest the rest of the outfit to be plain. Wear them with super high black shoes and a plain loose t- shirt with a leather jacket or knitted cardigan depending on occasion will look great.

New Louboutins........

Check out my latest addition to my shoe collection.........
These are an amazing classic, love the patent black leather and sky high heel and platform. I have had my eye on this pair for a long time I couldn't decide between the black or the nude colour, think I made the right choice with going with the black, nude would be perfect in the summer rather than the winter!
I can't wait to wear them,  just need to get a patent black bag to match!
Hope you all like them!!

Smoking eye- Dior pallet
YSL lipstick - Nude

Totally in love with this look! Think the different textures go really well together!
I recently brought a similar jacket from Zara feel its bang on trend this season. I like to pair it with either Skinny leather trousers or leather shorts like in the picture!
Really loving all the cute shirts that are in the shops with the studded collars I also purchased a cute cream one from Zara!
The classic black wedge finishes this outfit off .
I like to finish my hair off in a messy bun. Smoking dark eyes, nude lips and long lashes for your make-up is perfect!!!
